The Moon is our closest neighbor in the solar system. Since the dawn of time, it has played a defining role in our lives: helping to guide pioneering seafarers, the ruler over the tides, dream destination for aspiring astronauts. Even though humans set foot on its surface more than 40 years ago, it still seems distant and unreachable. But this is about to change forever.
A smart and ambitious team of scientists and engineers have been developing, calculating, fine tuning and engineering for almost eight years to perfect their spacecraft and rovers and head to the Moon. They are called PTScientists, and they’re based in the bustling German city of Berlin.
Now, Audi is supporting them to build and test the rover ‘Audi lunar quattro’ – and win the private race to the Moon. These two companies are united by the will to challenge rules, define new boundaries and do whatever is necessary to realize this dream.
This is a mission about the challenges that lie in the 384,400 km that separate the Earth from the Moon. This is a story about daring to dream, doing things others laugh off as impossible, and following your passion. It’s about innovation trying, failing – and trying again. And the strongest, most powerful fuel of all: pioneering spirit.
This is the Mission to the Moon.
